Pablo Ruiz y Picasso, better known as Pablo Picasso, was born on October 25, 1881 in Malaga, Spain. Living most of his life in France, he dabbled in various creative arts besides painting. He was also a poet, playright, printmaker, ceramist and stage designer at various periods of his life. He died at the age of 91 in France on April 8, 1973.
