Thomas Eakins

1900

This standing male portrait was done in oil by Thomas Eakins in 1900. The subject was his brother-in-law, Louis N. Kenton, a Philadelphia bookkeeper. The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City is home to the painting today.
