Also called "After Argument" or "Easter Sunday", Norman Rockwell painted this for the& Saturday Evening Post Cover for May 16, 1959. The view outside the picture window is the same view Rockwell had from his studio in Stockbridge and his daughter-in-law posed as the mother for the painting, although she was much too young to fit the role.
